Dr. Joel Turner is a skillful surgeon. When he removed one of my parathyroid glands, his procedure was so minimally invasive that I felt no real pain afterward. At first, I had minor discomfort in one small spot in my throat whenever I swallowed. By the next day, the discomfort was gone, and I was able to eat chewable food.
I was recently diagnosed with an inguinal hernia and referred to Dr. Turner. He was very helpful and scheduled my operation that same day. He operated on me last week , told me exactly what to expect post-op and how long my recovery period would probably last. I am very satisfied with his care and handling and would recommend his practice to anyone.
I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer earlier this year by my ENT Dr. Clayton. He referred me to his long time colleague, Dr Turner, and Dr Turner saw me asap. He went over all the possibilities right away and then sent me for more testing. they found some more cancer in my lymph nodes that are right next to the Thyroid. Dr. Turner is very kind, patient and professional. Although I ultimately had to have surgery, Dr. Turner explored other options before recommending surgery which I greatly appreciated since no one wants to have surgery if it can be avoided. Dr. Turner was excellent thru the entire process. This was my first ever surgery, but Dr. Turner kept me feeling at ease from the start. He was able to answer all my questions, and I was able to feel relaxed and comfortable going in and afterward.
I was fortunate to become a patient of Dr Joel Turner. From the very first meeting, through out my surgery and follow up Dr Turner was an incredible doctor. He went through what I should expect before and after surgery and took the time to answer any and all of my questions. I have already given his name to someone who needs the same surgery that I just had and I am very comfortable in knowing the quality of care they will receive. I am so thankful for Dr. Turner. He is just the best !

Dr. Turner was very attentive. He listened to my concerns and answered questions that I had. He explained how my pending surgery would proceed and what the benefits and possible risk were. I felt very comfortable and left the pre-surgical appointment with a high confidence that all would go well. The surgery was very successful and the healing process has been good. My follow up visit was good.
