Dr. Whiteford referred me to Dr. Turner for surgery. Dr. Turner was a consummate professional in all regards. I was fully informed of all aspects of my procedure which put me at ease... not an easy task in our current COVID environment. I would highly recommend Dr. Turner!

I had half my thyroid removed and it was no issue at all. Dr. Turner did a great job as the surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone. My experience may not be the same as others but I had almost no pain after the surgery. I require no medicines other than Motrin. If you get your neck cut and it does not hurt much after that is a great job done by your surgeon. Dr. Turner recently performed my emergency surgery. He was kind, caring, and professional. He took time to explain the situation to me and what I might expect during the surgery. He thoughtfully called my family to tell them that I was doing well--and followed up with me and with my primary care physician.
Having surgery with Dr. Turner was so completely comfortable. From the first consult appointment to surgery. He and his staff were top notch.
Dr. Turner removed my gall bladder. When I was in GBMC for an unrelated infection , one of my tests revealed that my gall bladder was diseased. It had to come out. Dr. Turner took me into surgery the next morning, on a Sunday. I was very grateful that he scheduled it so quickly. It was a usual serious operation for him; for me, it was a "piece of cake". Thank you Dr. Turner.
My friend recommended him to me! My biggest concern after surgery was scarring and he has a reputation for performing surgeries that result in super minimal scarring. I'm excited to see how things will look at the end of a year!
Dr. Turner was very effecient and informative about my diagnosis. Was able to get me into surgery quickly and my recovery has been speedy and comfortable. Also the concern of post-op has been great.
