State Farm IS THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY. Right next to ********. I am a contractor that specializes in insurance restoration. State Farm is now saying that they don’t care if a roof is unrepairable and that they don’t care if shingles are discontinued that they are not paying for replacement. And not just roof claims. Absolutely disgusting behavior from this company. Good luck filing a home claim for anything with them you will be responsible for not only your deductible but 90% of the work that is done State Farm tries to not cover anything and everything that they can get away with. Say something is a few years old in your home we’ll guess what if it’s damaged by water or lights on fire your screwed because this company will try and deduct the fact that it’s old from the estimate. A state farm customer ran a red light and hit my car. $4600 worth of damage they won't pay which is crap. I sent them a video with proof that she went through the light and a picture showing she hit me and they are still declining to pay. I will make sure everyone knows not to do business with state farm. Horrible company. I told me I need more evidence..like what. I couldn't get a witness bc I was trapped in my car bc their insured doesn't know how to drive and likes to lie

I’ve had many different insurance companies over the years, but I’ve never had to deal with one like this. In the last few months. I’ve had two issues that state farm has completely dropped the ball not to mention borderline committed fraud. I had a fender, bender and, of course exchanged insurance information. I have had Statefarm insurance for the last two yeas for our house and cars. I have not had to file a claim with them. We haven't had any claims for our cars in over 10 yrs and have never filed a claim for our house. We recently had an accident which was a hit and run. No fault to us, and Statefarm has made this process the most difficult process. We will be cancelling our policy once we have our vehicle fixed and will never use Statefarm again. Horrible insurance company never get a answer when trying to call regarding a claim doesn’t want to pay homeowners who pay their premiums for a roof that is clearly damaged never responds to emails would not recommend at all!
I have sent many messages through State Farm property claim web site to Shana V******** my claim handler regarding final claim settlement but no response yet. I even left messages on her voicemail no response yet. Final settlement claim for wind and hail damage to my property was submitted on October 3 2023 well over 6 weeks ago. Earlier claim handler Mr William A**** was very helpful.
