Meat is so good you don't need any sauce. The bark on the ribs was amazing and the potato salad was some of the best I've ever had. Will be a new stopping place when we visit Abilene.

Grew up eating at Joe Allen's, and since I have daughters who attend ACU it gives me the opportunity to go back and eat the great BBQ that I remember. Eat there every chance I get.
My husband visited Joe Allen's on his last trip to Texas after hearing about their great food from passengers on his flight. We went again today and he was right! They have delicious beef brisket and cornbread. It's definitely worth the trip!
