RecommendedNot only do they have the best looking and tasting cakes in Hattiesburg, but their cookies are the most amazing creations ever. Jody's Bakery is as much a Hattiesburg staple as USM and Crescent City Grill or Chesterfields. We wouldn't be Hattiesburg without them!

I’ve been a customer since they opened!!!! We’ve gotten many birthday cakes from them! Now we’re passing on the tradition to grandchildren! They love the rainbow cookies! Ms. Charlotte is a sweetheart!!
I recently went in and asked for decorated cookies for a special occasion. Showed a picture of what I wanted specifically to make sure they were capable of making it, they reassured me they could make them. However, I received something totally different on pick-up day. I was very upset with the obvious disregard to what I asked for.. It seemed as if the person making the cookies had no care for how they turned out. Just a warning, get decorative cookies from elsewhere!!
The 12 X 12 Happy Fathers Day & Happy Birthday cake I ordered and picked up for a large family gathering yesterday out of town was extremely dry and flavorless (tasted very stale) and the “buttercream” frosting was typical lard icing; disgusting!
