My MIL ordered 45 cookies for my sons birthday party and they were the decoration on the cookies was very messy and looked horrible!! Not even close to worth what was paid!!
Ordered a birthday cake for my mom. They were out of chocolate icing so we settled for white. Got the cake and it was dry. Hoping this was just a one time occurrence. The Cheese squares are amazing though.
RecommendedHer pound cake is delicious (so says my son). It was so easy to order his birthday cake from PA ! I just wish they made a traditional round two layer ( "pound") birthday cake.

I picked up a special birthday cake for granddaughters on Saturday. Could not even read greeting for one on the cake as was same color of icing used---supposed to have been lite Choco buttercream but was black. When they cut their cake their reaction was not what I expected. So later when I tasted , it was horrible. So dry you could not eat. This is not first time. Jody’s has always been one of my favorite bakery until today. I purchased a cake square and it was frozen solid. I called back and told the lady. She stated, “we just took them out and it will take 20 minutes to unthaw.” I suggest that you allow the customer the right to purchase frozen cake or fresh.
My family and I have really fallen in love with Jody’s bakery. Not only are the assortment of goodies delicious but the service is second to none!! The drive from Laurel to Hattiesburg Is well worth it! Keep making people smile!
My daughter has 2x ordered a very special cake for her brother and paid plenty for it and twice the order was misplaced and cake was late. The second time the cake looked horrible!! They did nothing to make it right!! They have lost our business!!!
