First time visiting the bakery and my family and I enjoyed everything we picked out today!!!��Looking forward to next time!!!
Did a preorder - Total $66.00 add a dozen Iced Cookies ($24) then got a Soda and Sandwich - Total ended up being $125.00 - The King Cake I ordered had hardly any filling. The cookie tray wasn’t good either. Will stick with their Iced Cookies.
Jody's is a child hood classic. I have recently moved back to Hattiesburg after being on the coast for almost 6 years. My Mom and I come to Jody's every time we have lunch. Nothing has left me disappointed, even after being gone for so long. I am excited and looking forward to getting all four of our birthday cakes and maybe an anniversary cake from here! My kids love the cookies and cakes and ask for more all the time. I'm so glad y'all haven't changed in all this time!
I got a king cake there and was best I have ever had!!!!!!! Can’t wait to get another one!!

I could not be more pleased! First of all, whenever I am in Hattiesburg (I live in Houston, TX), I always stop in for 2 dozen rainbow cookies! Brings back great childhood memories of getting these cookies as a little girl. Second, I ordered a birthday cake for my mom this week. Jody took my order herself, and was so pleasant to deal with! I've never had such a dry cake in my life! Even my 5 year old said, it wasn't very good. Paying $92 for a dry cake is ridiculous. Overpriced to begin with and I'll never use them again. I was very disappointed with the attention to detail. Very sloppy handwork. I also feel that I should mention that last year they forgot to make my sons birthday cake. I showed up to pick it up....nothing. They lost the order form. They did quickly make a cake and brought it to my house, but by then it was 7:00 at night and my sons party was ... read more
