Everything I have asked her about is never silly or unimportant. My family has a tendency to have pancreatic cancer so every time one of my sibling are diagnosed I immediately go to Dr. Labowitz and she always does whatever it takes to calm me. The last time I went after a sibling was diagnosed she ordered a MRI to calm me and thank God she did. On the day of my Colonoscopy, she came in 1 hour late and started to talk down to me. I saw her a year before, scheduled the Colonoscopy. I later cancelled the appointment and decided to do the Cologuard test. It came back positive, then I decided to move forward with the Colonoscopy. She was mad, talking to me like a child, raising her voice, saying I should have had Lab work done (you need an Order for Labs) I was not given one. While there was a bit of a wait; Dr. Labowitz took her time with me, listened to my concerns and ordered appropriate tests. I would go back to Dr. Labowitz.

Professional, courteous, and synchronized. The appointment ran like clockwork. Office staff had me well prepared. Although I didn't want to get a colonoscopy, it was time, and I was comfortable.

The availability of these offices was exceptional. The facility on Thunderbird on the day of the procedure was better than any hospital.

As a new patient, I was told it was going to be 4 months before she could schedule an appointment. I was asked to be put on a cancellation list and got in a few weeks later. However, I was not even taken back to the exam room until 1 hour and 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment despite being told she runs on time. The staff kept telling me 5 minutes more after waiting 30 minutes. Her medical assistant was rude in her responses and dismissed all my concerns. Dr. Labowitz is very personable and attentive. Don’t be shy… tell her everything. I highly recommend her. Wish ALL my doctors were as nice.

While you will be forced to sign a paper that says that you have to cancel within 48 hours, or pay a fee. It's actually 48 hours from the day of your appointment, not the time. So if your appointment is at 4 pm and you call at 9 am it’s too late and your charged a fee. They certainly don't tell you that. They will charge you $50, and then refuse to reschedule you if you happen to be a professional with a job and cannot make the appointment in the middle of the day. Horrible staff.
