The arena was built as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility and anchors the 223-acre, $1 billion development Westgate City Center - the "crown jewel" of sports and entertainment complexes. On October 25, 2006, Jobing.com purchased the naming rights to the building and Glendale Arena was renamed Jobing.com Arena. This was my first visit. The facility is very impressive. First class and the sound of the game was great as well.
This is more because the moronic city of Glendale than the arena it's self
I went to my first show at this venue Friday for the Disturbed,Chevelle, and Nothing More concert. I was nervous because I had never been to the venue and being of limited mobility I was quite anxious. We chose to valet it was $30 bucks but considering we were able to get right in the venue and right out after I say it was well worth it. When we got to venue we were greeted warmly by the staff.I let them.know I was somewhat disabled. Been there in the past for hockey games. Went to see Disturbed a few nights back, sound system was AWESOME!! However, I was Shocked to see they're charging $9 for a friggin soda in a plastic cup!! NO REFILLS!! And they won't even refill it with just ICE??!! WTF! Kinda selfish for what yr paying for everything else there. *Gouge much*. Its friggin soda and ice!!
