The arena was built as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility and anchors the 223-acre, $1 billion development Westgate City Center - the "crown jewel" of sports and entertainment complexes. On October 25, 2006, Jobing.com purchased the naming rights to the building and Glendale Arena was renamed Jobing.com Arena. It took 30 minutes to get into the stadium at black fridays game. And 30 minutes to park. We got a block away from the game at about 5 after 6. An hour later we finally got seated inside the stadium. The street tacos w mango salsa was good. For 10$ the papa johns pizzas tasted hours old, and only contained 4 slices. The pizzas were stiff and mostly was missing sauce. Next time i go ill know to avoid papa johns inside the stadium. You guys should kick the papa johns out of the stadium and put in a subway.
Had a good time, taking my daughter to her first hockey game..... My only complaint, and the reason I only rated it 3 stars, is the changes in ticket prices, depending on who the Coyotes are playing. The seats that I could've paid $20 for, for the Canucks game, are $80 for the game against the Penguins, in February.
Very nice Arena, hard to get to. People are great !!!!
