The arena was built as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility and anchors the 223-acre, $1 billion development Westgate City Center - the "crown jewel" of sports and entertainment complexes. The toilets on the second deck don't flush the tp down...gross! The faucets spray all over you. At the Coyotes game last night they ran out of dollar hot dogs and beer before the second period was over. Poor planning and just plain dumb!!!!!
Great location- easy to to get in and out before and after the game. The building was nice and there are no bad seats for the Coyotes game. Food was also good for being at the stadium.
Went to see a Coyotes game and the staff was amazing, helpful and soo nice!
Absurd to "run out" of $1 hotdogs in the 1st period when that is your promotional item. Other than the concessions and the terrible glenfail location it is a great arena. It will be over kill for swap meets when the coyotes move to the east valley.
My girl and I had a great night at Hela River Arena, I haven't been to a hockey game in over a decade, we had a blast, great times, I love you baby!!!��������
STH for hockey. The City of Glendale needs to make every effort to keep the hockey team here. The facility was built for hockey and events. Marketing isn't that good to keep the facility busy with events etc,..if hockey moves away.. Generating funds are the answer to pay the bills. Westgate is struggling and needs events to bring people & $.$$. We're also STH for the football Cardinals. Football only has a 10 game season.
