The arena was built as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility and anchors the 223-acre, $1 billion development Westgate City Center - the "crown jewel" of sports and entertainment complexes. On October 25, 2006, Jobing.com purchased the naming rights to the building and Glendale Arena was renamed Jobing.com Arena. A beautiful arena! We attended a hockey game recently and really enjoyed ourselves. A great place to observe your favorite team. The game day experience was well done. I laughed at the light-hearted jabbing at the opposing teams fans. I will say that the lead into for the Coyotes with "Dream On" was ironic for me as an opposing fan. Haha perhaps a better choice was warranted. My only comment was that the concourses could have been larger. Felt a bit claustrophobic in a tan lit concourse with no windows looking out. Great arena, great atmosphere, and state of the art entertainment. My visit was memorable and would come back again.
It was fantastic. First time to see my first hockey game, which I loved. Also, as we were leaving there looked like there was a lot to do in the immediate area without having to drive to another location. Did not have time to explore but am looking forward to the next time and will definitely make more time to explore some restaurants, etc.
Parking was easy but expensive, great bar scene just outside the entrance to the arena for drinks and food before hand. Average prices inside for an arena, would recommend drinking/eating outside first.
