The arena was built as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility and anchors the 223-acre, $1 billion development Westgate City Center - the "crown jewel" of sports and entertainment complexes. On October 25, 2006, Jobing.com purchased the naming rights to the building and Glendale Arena was renamed Jobing.com Arena. Fantastic venue! Really impressed, even though I'm not a huge hockey fan. Not a bad seat in the house! Would love to see a basketball event here as well!
It was a great evening, in addition to the game there was music, flashing lights and cheering. Even though the home team lost, a good time was had.
It was my son's 1st NHL game even though we were in the upper level we could see the game perfectly
