The arena was built as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility and anchors the 223-acre, $1 billion development Westgate City Center - the "crown jewel" of sports and entertainment complexes. On October 25, 2006, Jobing.com purchased the naming rights to the building and Glendale Arena was renamed Jobing.com Arena. I absolutely LOVE this arena, great place very clean bathrooms acoustics fabulous. The outdoor area before the a show is awesome. I'm from Philadelphia and we could definitely learn a thing or 2 from this place. The employees from the security to the people serving beer were so welcoming and friendly. I'd love to catch a hockey game here someday
