RecommendedThe staff is very nice & helpful.The room's are Beautiful!!! as well as the grounds.However not enough at meal time's. But all in all very very nice!!!
Focus more on the patient needs than the sparing needs of meds. If a patient is restless, whimpering, continually lifting left arm up n down with discomfort, then give the patient the meds they need. Don’t wait 4 hours on morphine when the dose doesn’t even phase the need of the patient! Not a good experience at all.
Of Hospice and Community Care, I will say, there are better choices! These comments are specifically directed toward H&CC management, not the caregivers. My terminally ill husband was diagnosed by H&CC’s affiliate, LGH Penn Medicine. After less than 1-year of providing limited care, they discharged my husband stopping nursing care and medication aid. What a privilege to work at such a wonderful caring place. I love my co-workers and we do our very best to make each persons experience here peaceful and loving. A special thank you to our volunteers who give of themselves in such an unselfish way.
I highly recommend Hospice and Community Care. The staff have been very caring over the past 14 months. They were there to help my wife. Barb transition and support us both through end of life. They exude care, concern and compassion. They were a great comfort and help in a difficult time.
the nurses were very attentive to my mom and did everything to stay on top of keeping her comfortable as possible through her final days while also keeping our family well educated on what was happening ..thank you for all that you did for caring for my mom
