I went to the Jingu Tea House today with my mom as she had been there before and had a good experience. I ordered the vegetarian sushi and a side of “five spice” chips. Let me preface this review by saying I’ve had vegetarian sushi before from 4 other Asian restaurants in San Antonio and eat vegetarian sushi about once a month. It was the worst vegetarian sushi I’ve ever had, the rice tasted pickled. On top of that, the chips had no five spice on them and tasted bland. Beautiful and serine. Well worth the visit and great tea!
We loved our first visit to Japanese Tea Garden. Hope.to visit again to take photographs of beautiful scenery.
I just found this little nugget of beauty with tasty food and great view. Lots of gluten free choices so this place will be on my short list if go to's.
