RecommendedWow, is all we can say. First, the food is classic as the “original” Lincoln and Park, the portions are huge, and it’s just beautiful and delicious. The location at the golf course is just beautiful. Sitting inside has almost the same visual beauty as outside. We sat outside on this visit. It was just great food, solid value, and beautiful and fun location.
I recognized the waitress from the other Jim's. It was good to see someone familiar.
Charging .75 extra for Cesaer dressing for a Cesaer salad: really? Why don't you call it Romaine lettuce and indicate extra for dressing. I have never seen this before. If you call it a Cesaer salad the Cesaer dressing is implied; crappy policy. I come here a couple times a month with my in-laws: very erratic service and quality. When you good; you're fine. When you are not good: not so much! But charging for dressing: really!!!
This is great reasonably priced comfort food with a great bar and great service!! Jim's also has the 18 piece Bob Enos Big Band every Wednesday at 8 playing great big band jazz, no cover charge!!
I love going to Jim's on the Course for weekend brunch. They've recently had a renovation indoor and the outdoor 18-hole golf course is also getting refab. The food is always good and very affordable. They have weekend specials that's absolutely delicious. I've yet to get through all of them. They have a bar and more than a handful of sports TVs around the dining area. Servers are attentive even though the place is always packed on the weekends. On a warm/hot day, they have plenty of outdoor seating under umbrellas.
Mother's day was crowded as expected. Placed order and after 45 minute wait had to flag down manager asking where our meals were. Another 10 minutes and only partial order arrived. Food was good, would have been excellent if 3 of us could have eaten same time and our complete meal. No apologies given. Everyone who sat around us had eaten and left before we received our meal. Would go back but guarantee I'll be timing and complain to be heard. Would have liked a apology and maybe free Mother's day meal.
I have eaten at many good breakfast/lunch places at golf courses in Northern and Southern Cal and would put JIM's right up near the top of the list in terms of service, value and awesome dishes. My go to breakfast dishes are corned beef hash or Belgian waffles with their thick bacon and sausage links. You'll not walk away from JIM's still hungry!👍
