I have had them work on my BMW for several years and our other cars, as well. I have always been very pleased with their professionalism and service. In fact, they have corrected things that the BMW dealership had represented to me had been done, but the dealership had not actually done. So, I will continue to use this auto shop because it is hard to find a reputable shop.

Jim's German has always worked on my European cars for the last 15 years they have always been extremely fair and the quality of work is better then the dealerships. I just love shuttle ride home that they offer.

I have been going to Jim's for years. They have always treated me fairly and have kept my car running well. They found a difficult to diagnose electrical problem on my BMW and corrected the problem so that it ran better than ever. Jim's checks out the car entirely every time, so that major services are not as costly, definitely less than dealers.

I have been taking my cars ('97 BMW/'00 VW) to Jim's German Auto for years and have had excellent service! The quality of service has been top notch and the cost of repairs much cheaper than the dealers. I am amazed to read some of the negative reviews...I guess people just have a hard time hearing the truth about their cars. Personally, I would appreciate a mechanic that told me when to get rid of a car rather than make me feel like it was worth repairing when it wasn't. It's hard to find an honest mechanic AND I rest assur... read more

Ive had my BMW, and Porsche, Chevrolet truck serviced at Jim's going on over 10years, and I find them very honest, and reasonable. They take the time to show you what is wrong with your car, and try to explain the problem with your vehicle. Some people just dont understand, and cant comprehend the mechanical understandings that happen to a car that you relay on day after day, and the wear that you put on you vehicle, and before you know it, something happens, Believe me, take it to Jims., it's the best in town. He will tell ... read more

Wow, I am shocked at the poor reviews. I only have a couple experiences, but they were not for anything all that major. When I changed the battery on a BMW it lost all the programing for the windows, etc. Called BMW and they said it would take 8 hours to re-program and $500.00. THey told me only a BMW battery would work in the car. I bought it from Autozone and JCI is the same mfg and same specs for half the price. The BMW forums confirmed that the service dept story was a crock. Jim, said it takes a couple hours tops and th... read more

My experiences have been nothing but Extremely Pleasant, and Thank the Good Lord my neighbor recommended Jim to us! Really!!!! I have found Jim and his staff to be professional, reliable, and most of all Honest! I asked Jim to go through my car and see if the repair I was told was needed by one of the local BMW dealers would be worth doing. He told me, honestly, yes you have a Good running car and it is worth doing the repair. I had him do just that and was also able to do some maintenance that I was behind in due to the hig... read more

I am sorry others had a bad experience, but I was truly impressed with Jim's. After paying for high dollar repairs at the bmw dealership for years and still having problems, my friend recommended them to me. First, they were aware of what a previous mechanic had said, that I had blown a head gasket. Yet, they found that this was not the case. Second, they took me to look over my car and was shown the areas that needed addressing. Many of these I had been told before by the dealership but they always charged too much. I signe... read more
