This is a great family owned business. I originally was referred there by a friend and it was close by to where I was working. I called to see when I could bring the car in to have a rattling noise and brakes fixed and she told me to bring it in the next day. I brought it in the next afternoon and it was fixed on the spot. I was receiving a "check engine" error that had been "fixed" by one shop, looked at by two others (including the dealership!), each with a different opinion on what needed fixed ranging in the hundreds to over a 1K to fix. Jim's Discount Tire & Brake found the RIGHT problem, and fixed it for less than $100 all in less time it took for others to even run diagnostics. This Shop is Great!!! I would recommend this shop to any and everyone that needs service. This shop is VERY fair when it comes to costs. They will not tell you somethings needs repaired unless it realy does need repaired. I went to a dealership that told me I needed over $1000 worth of work and when I took it here they showed me I did NOT need that work done. I came across with Jim's Discount Tire & Brake, because a friend of mine referred me to, even though they were very busy ,they made time to take care of my car from front end problems.The job was done fast but right. The price is accurate, and most important, effective with hassle free results. I asked questions and got right answers. My 1990 Honda Civic had a tune-up and the car ran better than ever - I could tell the difference...and then I needed a new starter and alternator - the car was starting intermittently. They showed me how they diagnosed it and fixed it while I waited....(It's not like they didn't have other business, either.).. I used their wifi to work on my laptop while I waited. Plus the guys in the garage sing while they work - an added bonus. A nice place with nice people.
