It all began in 1960, when former teacher, coach and salesman Jim Tallant founded Jim's Appliance and Furniture with 2 Boise locations. In 1971 he combined the stores and relocated to the current address at 1115 Lusk Street a 30, 000 square foot building close to downtown Boise.
