Their mofongo’s with shrimp was served on a tomato based sauce. This sauce tasted like it was made from tomato paste out of a can and seasoned with mostly cumin . NASTY! That is not a true authentic Puerto Rican Mofongo. Puerto Rican Mofongo is served on a beef or chicken stock broth (in Puerto Rico) or with a beef stewish gravy (in New York). ACID INDIGESTION!!!
RecommendedI was very surprised to find this restaurant. Excellent food that appeases to all folks. Also they have some delicious Puerto Rican dishes.
