The food was great. The service sucked and when asking for a manager because the waitress was rude to us we were directed to someone that was not the manager. Had to ask another employee for the manager. We were offered gift cards to compensate and declined them. I will not be back to a place that employees are allowed to treat customers this way. BYE FALICHA!
We love Jimmy's- it's our favorite spot in Galveston for special occasion gatherings or just to have a drink and visit with friends!
We are locals and came in yesterday for the first time for our son's birthday. As someone with past experience in the food and beverage industry my expectations can be somewhat high. We were not disappointed. The food and service by Brandon were both excellent. I noticed a few reviews that stated you had to order at the counter. That is no longer the case. Best views and best service in town. The food is delicious and there is a nice variety to choose from. Great place to get a nice drink as well.
Clam Chowder is so yummy. Even on a hot summer day, because it tastes so good, you want to have at least a cup.
Came to jimmy's and was reminded of home! Brought up on cape cod Ma and everything from the calamari to the mixed drinks and atmosphere was amazing! Talked with the owner and he is such a nice man! The bartender Dallas was the best bartender I have had! Thank you for bringing New England to the south!!!
Terrible service, cold rice, and completely messed up multiple orders in our party. Won't be going back and wouldn't recommend.
Didnt have what was on menu..so order what they basically tell u what they can get u..drinks sucked 4 selections and beer of course..
I love this place. Beautiful view, great atmosphere, friendly staff and awesome food. Service can be a little slow sometimes but I'm chilling on island time and the friendly smile is more important than speed at which they respond.
