The food was great...we were there for the Catch a Monster Benefit for the Lions Club.. Proceeds went to the Lions Kid Camp in Kerville...for special needs kids...we had a great time..
Atmosphere is Great, Love the View of the Water, But service not All that Great. I got Engaged here so will continue to Come here.

View is phenomenal first and foremost. I had my mom with me who is a vegetarian, and there was plenty of options for her to chose from. The staff was very friendly and we were served in a timely manner. I would definitely come back again. And again. And again...
Waitress forgot to bring my gumbo. When I reminded her she asked if I still wanted it. I said yes, she brought it out & the gumbo was cold. Also, I bit into sandy oysters. I can understand the occasional grain of sand in seafood, but this was gross. I ordered the Tropical Lemonade cocktail. Very sweet & syrupy with no hint of alcohol. The burger was pretty good although a little dry. The establishment was "beachy". Went downstairs to take a walk on pier & told we had to pay$3/person just to walk on the pier. We apologize for the bad service experience. Walks on the pier are free to all restaurant guests. If the pier staff would have known you had eaten upstairs they would have not charged you. As for the drink and gumbo both are usually very well liked. We will check the oysters and the lemonade mixer to make sure they are what they are supposed to be. The mixer is made with real fruit and the oysters are in season and very fresh.
