We use to eat there often until moving south. Always bragged to my friends and family about the seafood. We visited there last month. The service was awful. The waitress and server never would stop at our table, we had to keep waving our hand for attention (but they enter acted with tables around us) . The check and card was snatched from table by the waitress as she walked by. The server brought it back to table for signing & walked away not even a thank you. We were treated as if we had the plague.
I have been going to Jimmies literally all my life, but it's not the place it used to be. Final straw this week. We were dissatisfied with our meal and when we spoke to the manager she couldn't have cared less. We drove 40 mins. each way to be served a fried clam "platter" with seven clams on it. Cost $16.75. Their crab and corn chowder uses imitation crab meat. Rolls are right out of a bag an not warm. Decor very worn and dated, not overly clean (carpets are dirty.) and the bathrooms are disgusting.
