Jim's has been my go-to in Philly since 2003. Tried Tony Luke's last week and that was a mistake. They don't use real Whiz. Great to see Springfield has a location!
Stopped going for a number of years, was talked into going and as usual meat was over cooked and not a lot of meat. If you want a good sandwich take the time to drive to south Philadelphia.
Completely ignored as they took the 2 orders behind me in line... when I called oh sorry we didn't see you.... I'm 5 foot 8 and had 2 children with me... I highly doubt I wasn't seen! Nice try
It's the real deal. Get a pepper steak with Wiz and Onions and you're in heaven. I like adding pickled hot peppers for an extra kick.
It was an alright samich i guess. The roll wasnt as crisby as i was expecting. But being a new yorker i have lofty expectations. Steak was tender and well proportioned. Staff was extra pleasant. Above all maybe i had had thougjts of nirvana in my cake hole and it was pretty much a no complaint sandwich
The sandwiches were fabulous the service was awesome and the building was immaculate!
