After paying thirty years into State Farm I recently had to use my insurance do to a minor fender bender. I get no help from anyone working with State Farm and the adjuster has nickeled and dimed me so bad that my car can not possibly be restored to the way it was with what he has decided to pay. Reputable mechanics are called lairs and I must accept third party / third world parts to repair my vehicle. Guess they have to many customers but I can assure you they are about to have one less.

I recently purchased a policy but my dealership found cheaper coverage the same day. I decided to cancel the policy with state farm. It took a month for them to advise they had sent my refund to the wrong address. An address in their system from 3 years ago. I went to the alternate address which is my business and it was not there. Now Iam having to wait another 10 days plus because the check cant be placed as a stop payment until the end of the week. I have to wait until mid April when I requested a refund in february. The ... read more

State Farm has been a part of my life since I was 16 years old and now I'm 44 years old. I was a loyal customer. Last year I had two accidents about a month apart, No tickets! I expected my premium to go up and keep moving forward. However, I recently received a letter from State Farm stating I was going to be removed from the insurance policy. I was very surprised because several years ago, I received a letter from State Farm stating I would never be cancelled. I just switched my insurance to ***** and my premium is $20 les... read more

I was hit by a State Farm policy holder in November 2016 and it took three months for them to finally resolve the claim (February 2017). They told me a few days after the accident that they would be denying coverage because their policy owner had let their coverage lapse, yet for some reason it required three months and several phone calls from myself complaining about their lack of action before they finally deemed it important enough to close the claim. Then it took them nearly another month to send the official denial let... read more

Been with State Farm for years. I never have been so disappointed wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!! I changed insurance company's do to them not putting things on my insurance policy and charging me for it. Going with the new insurance company gave me better coverage and at a lower PRICE. State farm is nothing but a rip off. They don't care at all about there customers. When I asked for an explanation in writing on why I got back only $62.81 back out of $327.76 that I recently just paid. Within days of paying State farm a... read more

It took more than four months for State Farm to deal with a fender bender. I had video of the incident and had to send it to them in four different formats because they were not able to read the CD I sent, the movie I sent, and the video I uploaded into Dropbox (I was able to see all formats just fine). They called one potential witness once, and when he did not return the call, did not call the potential witness again until I urged them to try. They took three months to determine that the incident was not my fault. The othe... read more
