On Thursday, my wife's 2000 Dodge Caravan starting smoking under the hold. After a little investigation, I noticed transmission fluid coming out of the dipstick and onto the transmission case, burning on contact. Took the van into Jim Dandy Transmission the next day, thought it was going to cost a fortune to repair. Efficient professional and affordable also nice people. They been there since I was a child,my dad went there. now I and my kids go there. They must be doing something right.Keep up the good work Jim Dandy

What can I say except that this is the place to take your vehicle for transmission work. Read my other reviews and you'll see I always come back Jim Dandy. We have 3 vehicles and all have been here. BTW, 2 of the 3 have over 360,000 miles on them. They rebuilt my truck's transmission 4 years ago and it's still going strong.

Fantastic service! Just took my 1999 Lexus in to be serviced. The guys there were very honest and trustworthy. They didn't charge me to diagnose my baby while another auto repair center wanted to charge me to look at it. They told me that it didn't need any major service and only charged me for the fluid that my car needed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Very...very friendly atmosphere. I won't hesitate to do business with them again!

I was a new driver in a used car with a transmission problem. I was told by some I would need a complete transmission to get it fixed. My husband is military and could not handle this problem as he is out of the country. After calling around I took my toyota to Jim Dandy Transmission. Roger and Tim were so great, they shuttled be home 2 times. They gave me military discount and I didn't even ask for one. They fixed my transmission s I didn't have to buy a new one. I had my chevy fixed there in November, it was pretty cheap, took 3 days and had me down the road. I have used this shop exclusively for years and think the service is great, my husband can send me down there and they can explain things to me. I think they care about my safety very much. (tell me about other stuff that is wearing out) I will always use this shop.

They rebuilt the transmission on my 1992 ford f-250 it took them 3 times to get it right each time I picked up my truck something did not work first time the transmission would not down shift the second time it would slam into gear going around corner from stop the 3rd time it would not shift now 21 months later it will not move my truck the rebuilt transmission lasted 9771 miles went down to store was told manger would call still waiting 11:40 5-15-17 cost so far 2850.00$ UPDATE Rodger sent a tow truck to get my truck and r... read more

Great staff and my duster was in and out much faster then I expected, plus it was the best price in town. I would recommend it to anyone. I will trust them with any vehicle
