I went to the dealership and looked at a car on Friday. I was told someone else was in the process of buying it. On Monday before 8am I went back because the car was still there. I offered to pay the price they asked. I offered to write a check for the full amount and I would return after I got off work at 3 to finish the paperwork. They would not accept anything other than me finishing the paperwork at that moment which would make me late to work.
