This Doctor is very caring and compassionate. She has come to the rescue when I needed it for a condition that needed emergency surgery on an evening beyond office hours. Since then, she has been my surgeon for 2 more preventative surgeries. Highly recommend her!
Dr, Melicher successfully treated me for a blocked tearduct. My experience with Dr. Melicher was that she is thorough, careful, and thoughtful. I would definitely trust her again with the care of my eyes.
I was in the eye business for many years, know most eye doctors in Minnesota personally, and thought they were all tremendous at eye health diagnosis and treatment. When I needed surgery on my lid, my optometrist recommended to go to Dr Jill Melicher. He was right, she did a great job, and my eye tears went away. That’s what I expected and that’s what I got! I thought Dr. Melicher was very informative and caring, I didn't feel rushed in my appointment, as she took time to answer any & all of the questions that I had. My reason for my visit was to get a 2nd opinion for a blepharoplasty & ptosis.
I drove 3 hours for my surgery and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Staff was extremely kind, professional and took their time with me and answered any and all questions. Clean, welcoming facility. Everyone greeted me with a smile from the front desk to the operating room and a kind wave goodbye at the car. They knew I had a long trip home and sent me with an extra icepack, snack, and juice for the drive.
