Dr Anderson has been treating me for five years. She is kind, a good listener, she is thorough and will make time to see you in an emergency. I have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and she is curious and up to date with science. Most of my doctors don't even know what I am talking about and she explained it to me. MECFS is a Neurological condition. Not derm. I recently saw her for a skin condition that happens to 4 out of 100k people. I’ve been seeing Dr. Anderson for annual skin checks for the past three years, and I trust her judgment completely, whether it’s advising a “wait and see” approach or recommending a biopsy. She’s a great doctor. That said, getting an appointment can be a challenge—I'm typically booking a year in advance. And if you need to reschedule? Good luck, as you'll likely be looking at another year before you can get in. Dr. Anderson is everything an excellent doctor should be, including being prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely caring.
5 Stars. Dr. Jill Anderson is wonderful. I had an exceptionally good dermatologist who retired. Dr. Anderson is even better. She takes her time. She conducts a very thorough examination. She explains things well. She gives me options that are easily understood. During Covid she took care of my dermatology concerns with photos and a telephone call. I was a new patient and booked my appointment with Dr Anderson many months in advance for a dermatology appointment. I was hoping she could do a body check as I was new to her office, have a family history of skin cancer, and had not been to a dermatologist before. When I there they informed me I was supposed to let them know IN ADVANCE to do a body check and that Dr Anderson didn’t have time that day. Went through four other doctors in two months before getting diagnosed by Dr. Anderson. She was the only person to look at all the photos, listen to my full account, and then give a diagnosis that fit the symptoms without prescribing random medications and procedures. Skin started clearing up the very next day and she even followed up on the NU health website. Also, the bill was 3x less than the other dermatologist...
After receiving an appointment confirmation and reminder call I showed up only to be told the appointment was cancelled. The office said they called and left a message but this is not true as my cell phones log and voicemail prove. I didn’t reschedule as I need a reliable doctor. Cancelling is ok but not contacting me isn’t.
Horrible practice and no patient courtesy.
Dr. Anderson is by far the best doctor we have ever seen, and with 3 kids that's a lot of doctors. We drive a hour to see her in Evanston.
