My experience with Dr Zhu has been excellent. He has been kind and welcoming at each appointment. He was very knowledgeable and accurately pinpointed my type of epilepsy. His choice of medicine has been a big help. At each appointment, he has taken the time to listen to questions and then carefully explain things to my husband and I. He also has always reminded us what symptoms to look for that would indicate the need for a visit to the ER. Had a 10:45am appointment with Dr. Zhu. Got there a little early to fill out paperwork like they asked. No paperwork to fill out offered. Waited and waited. The lady next to me tells me she has been waiting over an hour past her appointment time with no explanation from anyone. Asked the receptionist about my wait time and was told it would be at least 2 to 2 and a half hours more. She tells me the doctor purposely schedules 3 patients every 15 minutes. Had a 3:45 appointment, at 5:00 they finally called me back, and I explained to the nurse that I had to pick my daughter up from her after school program by 5:30, in which she replied “I hope you make it”. He finally came in the room at 5:35, did not make eye contact, sat down starting looking at my records and verified what the nurse just went over then got up to leave. He doesn’t care for his patients or about them!

Dr. Zhu is a very qualified Neurologist who has done wonders for me! I have had Restless Leg Syndrome for years! It has been so bad that I have worn holes in my sheets, when I had knee replacement in Nashville, the opposite leg had to be immobilized! Dr. Zhu has that under control and it’s wonderful! Now he is trying to get my Nuropathy and I am not a diabetic, just have the darn side affect. He is trying everything and it’s a little better but ways to go! Dr Zhu is definitely worth the wait!

Dr. Zhu is very knowledgeable of neurologic issues. He perseveres until he can determine a diagnosis. He is very personable and exhibits a great sense of humor!!

The doctor was over an hour late to my appointment. He did not communicate with me whatsoever. Afterwards, I received a $700 bill in the mail with absolutely no forewarning from their staff or the doctor at all. Even though I have paid $200/month per month since, I am still receiving harassing letters from the hospital as though I am not paying my bill at all. Even better, this was a total waste of money because after the test, they said there was nothing they could do for my hand.

Always running way behind...waited 2 hrs last time....does not take time to explain things to you...diagnoses you and sends you on your way. I need questions answered...
