If you are even contemplating finding a company to care for anyone elderly please continue your search and do NOT use this service. To any JFS member who may read this.....how dare you! How can you hire or place any human being in a situation that is life threatening like you have done with my mother in law!? I had two of their residents for 5 years. JFS of Tidewater should be dismantled. Hard to get the truth out of anyone who works there. UNPROFESSIONAL, inconsiderate, negligent and possibly criminal. They let a resident in my house go 5 WEEKS with no meds. Their case managers, management, even the receptionist are all inadequate to care for animals, much less, people. I would suggest not even sending a dog to them. Their reputation is well earned.
I am NOT a fan of this organization. I entrusted the care of my mother to them to handle her finances. They rarely visited her at the facility. Didn't know of the condition of the facility or the many falls she had. Outside of what my family made them aware of. I believe the Jewish family service told the Hospital to pull the plug on my mother after experience a real bad sepsis infection.
Unable to get ahold of anyone
Very disrespectful people my dad was in there care the so called woman who took over his care saying I'm not his daughter I'm daughter this company needs too go out of business very unprofessional my dad passed away March 26 this year sad thing is I saw that Monday I told I was coming back i went too see that Friday come too find out my dad passed away two days ago nobody called me not even the so called lady who took care of him she had my phone number I had too go too were he was too see a housekeeper cleaning his room I a... read more
