Went to Jewell Cafe after our annual Father Daughter Dance last night. Was the most disappointing meal/experience I have had in the 20 years I have been going here. After waiting nearly an hour for our dinner (mind you it was not packed by any means, our fries were not cooked thoroughly, bun on hamburger was hard, and the sides were the smallest I have ever had. Had eggs and home fries there today and it was very very good. I have a lot of prime fib there and only had one that was a little tough. It is a very good place to eat.
Had a fabulous dinner loved everything. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend, worth the drive.
I has a filet (medium rare) cooked to perfection. Salad was excellent also. Great meal and service.
