My family was very unimpressed with the quality of the food. I had the Boss burger, and it was very dry and flavorless. I shared my dissatisfaction with the waiter and he sent the manager to my table and I told him the same thing, very mediocre food, at best. The last $60 I'll spend at Jethro's. If you want great BBQ, drive to Marshalltown and eat at Smokin G's or Arthur Bryant's in Kansas City.

where do I start? the waitress was awesome. she made recommendations. I had the pork belly and smoked Turkey. she even recommended the liquid rub and I bought a bottle of that. she even let me sample a chicken strip with that sauce and I was in love! I will definitely be back. service excellent. choices excellent..very friendly environment.
Ate at the West Des Moines location tonight. I just wanted to post that we had awesome service from April! She was genuine, polite & fun! And helped us with menu choices! Great service & food!

It was our first time coming to Jethro’s,and the service was really great! The food was hot and soooo good! We had the dinner for 2 and it was a lot of food for a really great price.
Best BBQ chicken sandwich. enough for 2 people. loved it.
