I always enjoy the atmosphere and the food is always very good at a reasonable price.
Friendly and patient staff, to someone who's never been there trying to decide what they want. Best wings I've ever had! Compared to the flavor of everything else, the brisket left a little to be desired, but it was still pretty great!
I came here with my husband, some friends, and our kids. We are from out of town and it was our first time here. Everything we has was very good. We decided to do our table family style so we could all taste a variety of different meats. We had chicken wings, ribs, pulled pork, smoked sausage, brisket, pulled chicken for meats. Love the food. We stop on our way out west or back home on vacations. We've even done a road trip from the twin cities just to go to Jethro's.
LexI treated my son and I very well. Ribs and wings were all great. The smoked sausage was full of pepper and smoke. Brisket was a tad dry, but only because I cannot have any sauce on it. Smoke ring on that brisket was just amazing, though, as was the flavor.
Left Altoona Smokehouse disappointed. Tried to use a Visa that I won at work and they said I could not use because it said debit on it. Also said if they ran it they would never get paid. She even confined this with her manager. Sad.
