I've watched Jessica grow up and I can guarantee that she shows all patients the same care as she does me.
Have been with Dr. Pennington since her office was at Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond KY. I can see her for the common cold and have to be given a different treatment than someone else with the same issue. I have several serious health issues. Dr. Pennington is excellent at diagnosing the problem and giving me the right kind of treatment that won't harm me or interact the wrong way with my regular medications. Dr. Pennington is a nice lady, but didn’t help me to find out why I was so sick. All she would do was refer me to other doctors, & it got me nowhere. I switched to another doctor & the doctor quickly saw that I had asthma & did tests to confirm that diagnosis. Since switching doctors it’s been a different experience in being kept well & not allowing asthma to go into bronchitis & pneumonia every winter.
Jessica is a nice person, but she is very limited in her medical ability. Common illnesses and minor medical needs can be met here, but there is a lack of knowledge or reluctance to treat anything beyond the simple. You are constantly referred to specialists and reoccurring symptoms or lab results are not analyzed for possible root causes. They cannot keep up with their patients needs. Some of the staff are incapable of doing their jobs, but there are a few really good staff members to.
Dr. Pennington and the staff in the office are very professional and friendly. When I call for an appointment they always treat me with respect and get me in to see the Doctor as quickly as possible. Dr. Pennington is professional, friendly and very thorough.
I don’t see her anymore, but I love Dr. pennington dearly. She was so kind in my time of need. Sweet person. Very smart. Gentle disposition. Clean office. Quick and always able to get in same day. Nothing but good.
I love her. She is wonderful. Thorough and understanding. Best doctor ever.
