Dr. Pennington cares. Despite what some may say is a lack of expertise, I found that the problem lies with the specialist that I was referred to and not Dr. Pennington. It seems there is a loyalty code within a hospital system. A primary care physician can refer care, but if they refer to a specialist in the hospital system they belong to, they can be reluctant to challenge a specialist’s opinion because they are categorized as “specialist”. Dr. Pennington has the best bedside manner. She is always caring and sincere, things rarely found in the medical field today.
