My complaint is with the administration, specifically with whoever schedules the appointments. I was in the ER twice in one month. I was given an appointment for Friday the 27th, then they called to reschedule it for April. I have to wait two months to get an appointment with a specialist. I find it hard to believe that Jersey City's population is so large that there aren't enough appointments available. And if it was a mistake, why wasn't I given an earlier appointment? I called today (June 25th) around 11:30 AM to reschedule an appointment for my two children that was originally set for Thursday, June 26th at 2 PM. The woman who answered—Vanessa—was extremely unprofessional from the start. She picked up the phone with a curt “Yes?” and offered no greeting at all. I have been a patient of JCMC Outpatient Services for more than three years and I have had ten surgeries performed on me. This place is amazing and so are the people.
