Took my lawn mower to them it took 4 weeks to get it back paid $403.25 and its still not working as it should. I asked them to fix what was wrong and also told them to fix the tire, fix the transmission, change oil and filters. I was upset when so much smoke was bellowing out of th mower and it started to shake very bad. Called them and was told i would have to pay to have the mower picked up and brought back which is ridiculous. Ms. Jarrell, I'm disappointed that you're not satisfied with the work you received on your mower. As we explained when you picked up the mower, the ramps & truck you used to pick up the mower were going to cause you a problem unloading it. We told you it would likely bend the blade as there was not enough clearance with your set up. It sounds like the blade was, indeed bent and probably burnt the belt, which could cause excessive smoking. Also, we told you that we would pick up the mower and address any concerns you had. The best little lawnmower shop in the Coast!
Asked them to put a belt on and specifically requested for them not to address any other problems and I got blades cut off, new seat switches, oil change, and new mandrels. Oh and they sharpened my and balanced my blades. At first they told me it would be $40.00 but when I picked it up they charged me $243.48. I argued and was told I could only pay cash. And thank god they told me to never come back. They're crooks!!!

Mr. Kennedy, thanks once again for your review. Even though this incident was a long time ago, I remember you and your wife very well. Of course, we have a different account as to what happened. I hate that we couldn't end our business relationship amicably. I do take exception to you calling us 'crooks'. We are a family owned and operated business that has been here for over 43 years. We surely wouldn't have survived this long if we didn't provide an excellent service.
My husband took is welding machine there to be fixed and we will not go back! The mechanic who worked on the machine is either inept or crooked. Charged him to change the oil and filter but didn't change it. Didn't change the valve gasket either. So when hubby got it home and turned it on, oil shot out the valve cover. Now mind you, we were charged nearly $500 for a quote of $359-380. We called and took it back. A few hours later they called saying all the work we were charged and paid for now, the second time. Everyone who works at Jerrys is pleasent to be around!! Always helps me out when I need it! I just like to go In there and talk to Holly and Ms. Concetta! I have bought plenty of mowers from them, and they always bend over backwards to help me out! I feel as if it a pleasure to know them and call them friends as well as do business with them! In fact I will be there Monday to pick up something new!! Have a blessed Thanksgiving goes out to the whole crew!!
