Highly Recommended!!! I have been a patient with this office for two years. In the past, I have had my eye exams and purchased glasses from chain stores/offices. Perfectly Pleasant Experience Being new in the area, I choose the Harwood Clinic for convenience. I found everyone friendly and courteous. Dr. Latham was very nice, in no hurry and very willing to answer my questions. Having worn glasses for years now, I am familiar with the machines and tests the technician runs and what my options are. VERY LET DOWN! I have never been so disappointed in my life. I sent my boyfriend in for an eye exam that should have been simple. I was quoted a price with insurance but when he was checking out it was HUNDREDS more. The staff would not look at him when he was asking questions in regards to the bill and made him feel uncomfortable. Only thing nice that can be said, doctor was nice. Of course he was about to be ripped OFF.
Rip off! Rip off is how I would describe them. They have pulled a bait and switch on me twice now! They lure you in with basic service but then before you turn around they have charged an arm and a leg for 10 second tests that they don't tell you aren't covered by insurance or even tell you at all that there is a charge for each of these fancy machines. Their employees are robots that don't even look at you and are usually eating candy while they talk to you.Fool me once.... I won't be back and don't recommend them at all.
Helping you see better if you aren't blinded by show This practice has very qualified opthalmologists, very through exams, and accept most insurance. There is rarely a wait for an appointment. The office is small, but comfortable. However, I recommend taking your prescription to a lenscrafters or other lens making location; the frames they offer are over priced, and it takes 2 weeks to get a 1 week order of new lens through them.
