I have been a patient of Dr. Aso's for a very long time. I think that the previous reviewer must have gone to a completely different dentist than the Dr. Aso or Jerry as his regular patients' call him. Dr. Aso is a very skilled, kind, and gentle natured man. He has received" TOP Dentist in Portland" for the past two years. I think his receptionist is very good at what she does and I always know what I can expect my insurance to pay and what I'll owe in the end. overcharged twice. told me i needed 3 fillings and how much it would cost (approx. $500), then they did 4 and charged me $700 for 4 small fillings. acted like i was a liar when i confronted them about what they had previously told me. i didn't get anything in writing because i trusted them and the receptionist was out the day they quoted me for the 3 fillings and no one knew how to print out the proper forms. the dentist also left to see another patient in the middle of the procedure while i had a wedge keeping my mouth open... read more
