Dr. Cohen found a large, difficult polyp and removed it. I credit him with saving me countless hours of cancer treatments. He explained every step of the procedure and was great with the follow up appointments and procedures. I would trust every member of my family with Dr. Cohen.
Dr Cohen has been my Gastroenterologist Dr. for 11 years. In my opinion he is the best Gastro Dr there is any where. He's very friendly, kind and he explains your condition throughly. As long as he is practicing and i am still around i will not change Gastro, Drs.He's a great Dr and he does his job very well. I give all the credit to God and Dr Cohen for my well being as it is today.
In 2014 I went to this doctor for a colonoscopy and because I did not want to get propofol and told him that my insurance does not cover it and besides I wanted to watch the procedure. He compared my grocery shopping to affording the propofol, stated if I can go grocery shopping then...I was very taken back and a loss for words. I chalked it up as he was just guilty for being so late to the procedure and used me as his scapegoat. I was given heavy dose of versed, knocked me out!!!
Today is the 2nd anniversary of Cohens negligence killing my best friend Andrei Allicock like most Gastric Drs all he did was give Andrei PPIs and never fixed the issue and one day after months of debilitating symptoms he was rushed to the hospital and when he finally got checked by a real Dr they found a massive tumor that was causing all his issues but because of Cohens incompetence it was to far gone and to late Brave Andrei hung on for a brutal 9 months for his 3 sons
I have seen Dr. Cohen many times over 10+ year time span. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable, patient with me, and caring. I have had numerous colonoscopies and endoscopies over the years, all done very professionally, with great care. On a recent endoscopy, he found a nodule in my throat that my throat specialist had "missed" just a few weeks prior.
Dr. Cohen redid Dr. Sze's ERCP procedure, and thankfully did a thorough job. Obviously more skilled than the other doctor. We were able to get a diagnosis and he corrected the poor job of other doctor. The other doctor's job resulted in complications, a prolonged hospital stay of more drugs, but with his procedure the patient was able to leave in two days. Unfortunately, since he works with other doctor, he didn't admit her poor job. He is also cold in communications, and didn't follow up.
