Jennifer Paine should had never been allowed to practice law and I am happy to see that she has lost her license. I complained to the disciplinary board years ago and they did nothing. It appears now after multiple complaints they have finally decided to act. Jennifer would tell me court was canceled when it was not. It resulted in arrest warrants being issued. I hired her for my Mom's probate case. She has completely ignored me after receiving my money (which was paid without hesitation) except to complain after the people that referred me to her had to contact her. She has ducked, dodged and ignored all of my emails, call, text and I have had to call her from various numbers and still no response. If I could give no stars, I would! Just terrible to take advantage of someone while grieving!

I hired Jennifer through a third party company, for a child custody case. Our first conversation seemed to be very comforting and supportive. Then her communication during the process of filing a response was lacking. My old lawyer that had switched practices but had done some digging and showed me she had complaints against her, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. And continued with her. Jennifer Paine, won't sign a substitution of attorney order so that I can go to court and get my daughter back. This woman has literally not spoken to me since August, got my hopes up multiple times with promises of court dates that never happened, and now she won't just let me have another attorney on my case so that I can continue fighting for my daughter. Worst lawyer ever believe the reviews. Literally didn’t file any motions in my divorce for custodial custody and caused me priceless time with my son. Also, she had someone coke fill in for her and that person literally walked out of my case. I can’t believe she’s still a lawyer. Let’s all report this to Michigan bar. She’s messing with peoples lives in the worst way!

I recently used Ms. Pain for my divorce and as far as getting in touch with her is pure hell. I have paid and full for her services, but after that o was petty much on my own. I have sent so many text messages asking for things I need and nothing back, but every time I go on Facebook she's posting things smh. I can see if I was a client that didn't pay but I'm not, I paid whatever she asked Immediately. VERY POO SERVICE!

This attorney is as worse as it gets. She’ll lie to you. Push for you to settle. She’ll tell you she put in motions she didn’t. She’ll do absolutely nothing for your case but bring it down. She has costed me personally. Having her is as good as having nobody. You’re better off alone. She’ll destroy everything and expect to get paid. That’s the only thing she’ll communicate about and act as if she’s doing you a favor. She’ll push for you to settle. She’ll be late to every hearing.
