Jennifer Belt is one of the most impersonal and coldest people in her profession who I've ever spoken to. She had me fill out a 200+ question test to see where I landed for mental illness in the lobby while she left the building. She told me to leave the paper on her desk, and that was the end of my session, which I had to pay for, of course. In a landscape that is already difficult enough to find a mental healthcare provider, Dr. Belt only adds to that problem. From first contact, communication was difficult. Our only correspondence was through voicemail messages. In one of her voicemails she set up an appointment without consulting me or receiving any type of confirmation. I met with Dr. Belt based on a recommendation by a trusted physician. She was amazing, warm and I am so happy my doctor referred me to her to deal with a pivotal time in my life. I have given her name out to so many friends that need a safe space.
