If you are concerned with the care you might receive from Dr. Lin please know she is amazing! I am a 34 year old that was diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Lin is a bright Breast surgeon- she didn’t sugar coat anything for me. She performed a lumpectomy with an oncoplastic approach- pathology report came back with margins. She would follow up and respond to all of my questions/concerns personally. I will be forever grateful with Dr. Lin!
I definitely do NOT recommend Dr. Jennifer H. Lin with Kaiser Permanente if you are looking for someone who shows understanding of what you're going through, a compassionate bedside manner, a friendly demeanor and/or a warm presence. Unfortunately, she lacks ALL of those wonderful qualities. And who would want a doctor/Surgeon like that operating on them? Trust me, all of the one star reviews are ACCURATE.
Last year I had undergone surgery on my right breast. I had a mastectomy. Dr.Lin and her team were amazing. I was in the middle of my pregnancy. I was so scared being put to sleep while pregnant with my baby. Let alone surgery. However, I knew I had to get in done. My right breast had become infected. Worst surgeon ever. I saw her for a consultation due to severe pain from an infected cyst, she was very dismissive of my pain and concerns. I was sent home to grow an infection for 3 months and suffered greatly, physically and emotionally due to Dr. Lin's neglect and lack of attention to detail.
Very disappointed with our visit. Newly diagnosed breast cancer and had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. When we went there was told average wait for surgery is 2 months!! Why call yourself a center of excellence in breast cancer when you can’t take care of your patients in timely manner, especially a breast cancer patient where early intervention is the key.
