Fast service, good food, a pot of coffee at each table in a carafe. 50's nostalgia every where you look!
I've been going to Jem for almost 30 years now, starting when they were in the tiny space next door. I mostly go for breakfast, which is always good. The scrambled eggs are done perfectly and I don't know why but the bacon is the best I've had anywhere. I love the décor and the employees are always friendly......well, almost always. There are a couple of waitresses who spend entirely too much time hovering and fussing over their friends while practically ignoring other customers who they don't know (me). Had breakfast here today with my daughter...a picky 16yr old LOVED the omelette! Tony asked us several times,"how is everything?" Everyone was super friendly, it was super clean, and the atmosphere was great for this fifty-something old lady! We will be back.
We have been eating here for about 9 years. People are very friendly all the time. The food is great.
