First off, JEK rented us a unit (that they now sold to PRM Property Management) that they knew had basement flooding issues. This was evident by the carpet odor and removed baseboards. At the time I didn't think much of it. They did not disclose this to us before renting. After we signed a lease the basement flooded 4 times over the course of a year. Each time ruining our stuff.
