Dr. Zapalack just done surgery on our son to remove tonsils and adenoids. He needed the surgery pretty quickly because he was having obstructive sleep apnea.He got us in for surgery within a week.His office staff is very nice. He talked with us right before surgery and right after answering all of the questions we had. He called to check on our son when we got home. Then I had a question the next day and I was able to speak with the Doctor again. Great experience. Totally recommend Dr.Zapalac.
He's not going to be your best friend or sugar coat things....he hears you out and does a thorough analysis. He has some quirk to him but the guy will help you and make referrals for additional help outside of his expertise. If you're easily offended or want someone to hold your hand he might not be for you.
I had surgery to remove a benign tumor on my parotid gland. He correctly diagnosed it, recommended treatment, and promptly scheduled surgery at my request. He thoroughly explained the condition, the risks and the process in a reassuring manner. I received test results immediately from the doctor personally. The surgery required a six inch incision on my face/neck which is barely visible after only a few weeks. He set me at ease throughout the process. I am extremely happy with the results.
Great bedside manner, listens to concerns, not pushy yet firm in what he thinks is best. Performed ear tube surgery on our 8 month old daughter.
