He is the best doctor one can get to be treated for any ENT related problems. He is very professional. I am blessed he treated me and my son. My son had tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.
The worst my husband came to see him for a cough that’s been going on since November 2022. “It’s allergies take Flonase you’ll be fine. We requested a cat scan and head X-ray. Oh I don’t feel you need it But I’ll have the nurse schedule and call you. Been four months no call no tests was just informed today he had stage 4 lung cancer. I will never recommend him to anyone !!!
There's not much good I can say. After waiting 2 weeks to see him, he wouldn't let me get 3 words out to describe my symptoms without interrupting me over and over. He downplayed the pressure I've been having in my ear for the last 3 weeks and can't get rid of, as if I was making it up because I enjoy paying a $60 copay and spending time in a waiting room for absolutely nothing. Now I need to make another appointment with another ENT who will hopefully work with me and listen to me for at least 15 seconds and try to figure o... read more
I have had many problems with my sinuses, with numerous procedures along the way. The most recent was a sinus infection that lasted 6 months with 8 antibiotics, with no relief. I was recommended to Dr. Zapalac by numerous people, including another physician, and have been so happy! He has an amazing bedside manner, and knowledge of what needed to be done! He did surgery last week, and I feel like this is going to be the cure!! I especially enjoy the fact that he personally called to talk to me throughout this long pandemic, ... read more
He did a terrible job on my sinus surgery. I have had sinus infections for the last year and a half with no end in sight. My new doctor said that he did permanent damage. I can only hope that one day I will feel better. It’s extremely difficult living like this.
Always kind and understanding. I drive in from Wimberley to see him.
Dr. Zapalac and his team are amazing! I can’t say enough great things. I highly recommend him!
I have four children and wouldn’t dream of taking them anywhere else! My two oldest kids have had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, my third has had THREE sets of tubes and also just had t&a last week, and my youngest has had one set of tubes. He has also done sinus surgery on me and treated my husband for some throat issues due to reflux. We have been patients for almost 10 years. We have temporarily moved to the Dallas area for my husband’s job and we STILL drive to Austin to see Dr. Zapalac.
sitting in the reception area for an hour past my appointment with no communication from receptionist as to how long it it will take, especially after getting here 15 early is quite annoying. and there are only three people here with several doctors. they did manage to get my co-pay collected on time though. i'm out of here. i'll call credit card company to reverse chaco-pay charge.
