I have severe metatarsal pain. I came in with Xrays-MRI and a long history in my records for the issue. I was a bit confused bc of the failure to consider any previous history, testing, or results. A diagnosis was made from just looking at the foot of hammertoe... But I didnt know that until I heard nurses talking about it on the way out. The hammertoe happened quite awhile after the metatarsal issues had been going on. So it was suggested I try a toe straightening pad, which doesn't help the issue. Dr. Kahn was very quick with his diagnosis.
On time, PA explained everything and asked if I had any questions.
Very disappointed in how my appointment went. I have been having ankle pain for over a year (I should have not waited so long) so I took the first available appointment. I was X rayed and then the dr came in and spent all of 4 minutes with me. Touched my ankle once and told me what it was and gave me a prescription and a brace and told me nothing about it, just said if it doesnt feel better (didnt give a time frame) then w'ell do an MRI. Dr Jeff is very personable. He listened to my problem about pain in my right knee. I was able to get a steroid shot by the PA Ryan.
Dr. Kann is very attentive to his patients needs and explains the procedure in laymen’s terms. This experience with the whole team at Tri-State has been a breath of fresh air! I highly recommend this elite team of professionals.
The MD was rather dismissive of my problem. After seeing the pin created by palpating, he just said that it is arthritis and that the current steroids seem to be working. He also suggested that I find a different passion.
The staff from the front desk to the doctors are really listening to your concerns. Works on a plan of action to assist you in getting the care you need.
